Unit Manager (Must be a Registered Nurse) YPD Unit, Sunderland, £13.50 - £14.50ph
In Touch Recruitment has an excellent and unique opportunity for a motivated and care focused Unit Manager (RGN or RMN or RNLD) to take the lead and manage a 17 bedded YPD unit, within a stunning nursing home situated in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
This large and well-presented nursing home in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, provides excellent nursing care and support throughout 3 separate units within the home. The service is highly recognised for the specialist nursing care that is provided to residents with dementia and to adults with physical disabilities.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN or RNLD) and will have experience working at a supervisory level i.e. Senior Nurse or Unit Manager. The chosen candidate will become the Unit Manager of 17 bedded state-of-the-art unit that provides nursing and social care to individuals aged between 18 – 65 who suffer with Physical Disabilities. The role will involve managing a small team of carers and nurses, evaluating the clinical care delivered on the unit and ensuring that the unit is operating at optimal level. We are looking for somebody who is highly motivated, forward thinking and keen to succeed within a management role. Experience supporting individuals with Learning and Physical disabilities will be highly advantageous.
An excellent hourly rate of up to £14.50 will be offered to the successful candidate along with an excellent support structure to ensure success within the role.
